Back from a journey
Back from a journey
Coming back from a few days of travel with no chance to go online, it was fun and stimulating to read the different comments in the Manual made over the last week.
First of all, thank you for your interest and the many kind congratulations that we are of course very appreciative of! We will try to answer your questions if we can but some of the detailed ones will take more time (if anyone knows the answers, feel free to post them here...) The name of the composer is Borut Krzisnik. We will certainly check out the CollectiveDetective.org., we do not yet know about live-forums, we still have an awful lot of work to do...
About the negative comments, well, what can we say? For us it’s a matter of personal interest and personal taste and a lot of enthousiasm. "Interesting life is free" as Ozak Henry sings (he’s from Belgium by the way...), a good thing there are plenty of choices to make and plenty of other websites to explore...
In a couple of days we will continue working on the Archives. We will keep you posted!

the Archives online
Finally after months and months of laborious ordering, structuring and numbering, the Tulse Luper Suitcases Archives are online! Although there is still a lot of work and research to be done , it now consists of 3 main sections: the actual Archives, the Moving Images and this part, the Manual.
The Tulse Luper Suitcases Archives will eventually reconstruct the life of Tulse Henry Purcell Luper, a writer of fiction and theatre, a film maker, a professional prisoner and what not… He has been the object of my interest and imagination for some time now.
the Moving Images now contain just a few clips but will eventually grow into an archive;.
the Manual will be the place where I will keep record of all my work done on this project and where I will hope to receive your comments, questions and maybe even information on Luper...
Tulse Luper was born in 1911 and was presumably last heard of in 1989. I’ve tried to reconstruct his travels, I have made an inventory of the places and cities he visited – mostly as a prisoner – and I have defined 92 categories to describe the many aspects of his life, his works, his relatives, his friends, his suitcases, the maps he used, etc…
